Data for Impact

We work with partners around the world to harness the transformative power of data in early childhood systems. By creating clear data feedback loops with our partners, we make sure data is useful for everyone involved to influence change in behavior or decision-making.

OUR APPROACH

Unlocking the Potential of Useful Data

In order to effect change, data must be actionable and accessible to stakeholders at all levels, including parents, teachers, schools, communities, program support staff, local researchers, and national decision-makers.

Together for Early Childhood Evidence

An initiative funded by USAID to accelerate progress toward data-driven early childhood education systems in sub-Saharan Africa.

ECD Measure, through our partnership with University of Nebraska Medical Center, hosts the Together for Early Childhood Evidence consortium where we convene government officials, researchers and other stakeholders interested in pre-primary data and measurement in Africa and facilitate cross-country learning on how pre-primary systems can better use data to improve young children’s early learning experiences.

Schools 2030

A participatory learning improvement program in ten countries that uses principles of human-centered design through the Aga Khan Foundation.

ECD Measure serves as a global assessment partner in the program to support country teams and teachers to effectively use data to improve early childhood quality and learning.

KidSights Data

An initiative to build demand for the adoption and use of a population-based early childhood measurement tool for children from birth to age 5 in the United States.

The data from the Kidsights Measurement Tool is a new and valuable resource for understanding how infants and children are developing in a defined geographic area. Kidsights results can be used to report on overall development for groups of children when measured in the context of factors associated with disparities, such as family income, education, geography and other family characteristics.
